jdmils -> How to COMPLETELY block access to a site? (28.Apr.2008 9:23:54 PM)

I have successfully setup the site http://www.worldofwarcraft.com in our blocklist ("*worldofwarcraft.com" in a Domain Name Set), but I just found out that if the user uses the IP address instead (12.129.242.22) they get full access. Do I have to also block the IP addresses of all sites in my Blocklist? [:'(]

One other question, why do I have to put in the entry "*worldofwarcraft.com" in the Domain Name Set instead of just "worldofwarcraft.com"? Isn't this what the Domain Name Set is supposed to do?

ISA Server 2006.

Just found another one. If I setup a Domain Name Set and have "webcc.com.au" in the list (this is the domain name of the site I wish to white list), then when the user puts in "www.webcc.com.au" in IE, the two do not match and the rule fails. I have to change the Domain Name Set entry to "*.webcc.com.au".

Why do I have to make this change when I'm using a Domain Name Set?
