hi By Direct Access you mean: in the IE options, e have in the connectins tab, proxy server, the address 10.20.0.254 -> Isa server, in the exception i have "do not use this proxy server for address started by 10.20.* is this what you mean? if his....NOT WORKING :( thanks saludos

Hello, I have configured my wsus server on isa server and its working fine. now i have give port 8530 for management console and create a rule. allow --- 8530---form ---- inernal,local host----local host.and cliants geting updates.but if i want to set a group policy for all client its not applying on clients. if i manually edit by gpedit.msc on client end and give server location http://wsus:8530 after it run a command wuauclt /detectnow after few second it getting updates form wsus.why group policy not applying on clients...?

Sorry to not get back right away, I was stuck at work till after midnight last night. Two things good to know whould be: The exact contents of the "Domains" Tab in the properties of the Internal Network. The exact path used to connect to WSUS as you have it entered into the GPO

hi dear friends! for almost 4 months i´m struggling against this problem! and one simple soluction made it! bypass the isa server connection on connecting to WSUS! :D tanks a lot to you all saludos

Yes, but you shouldn't have had to do anything special. The path to the WSUS should have already been interpreted as internal, so the ISA would not have interferred, and there would have been no additional steps to take.
