davidnewman -> SSL Publishing with apache (4.May2008 9:54:33 PM)

Hi all - excuse my stupidity but I have the following scenario; I need to ssl enable apache in my dmz so I have a valid certificate installed on the apache server, I have ISA 2006 as my firewall so do I publish the apache cert in ISA or do I need to obtain a separate IIS certificate for the ISA box to enabling https bridging therefore having 2 x certs? - any pointers are most welcome :)

so do I export the cert from apache then import it using the mmc snapin in ISA placing it in the personal cert store?

Hi,

first you need 2 certificates to configure bridging. One certificate you put in the apache server and the other in the web listener configuration.

Note: This applies if you do not have split DNS. If you do youŽll need only 1 certificate.

Paulo Oliveira.
