danhcong -> DC, ISA server 2006 and Exchange 2k7 all in one server problem (27.May2008 12:40:50 AM)

Hi all,
Im working at a SOHO, so i had a server installed AD, ISA 2k6 and Exchange server 2k7. I publish OWA/HTTP and OWA/HTTPS fine, so i cant publish SMTP server. I had override SMTP to another port than port 25 to Internal IP address ( IP address of default recievd connector at EX 2k7): external---->port 25---->ISA--->port 225--->EX2k7.
When i run command netstat , i find that ISA server dont open port 25 to publish SMTP server rule, that's why i cant telnet port to external IP address of ISA,
Anyone there had the prblem like me ? Need your help, thanks alot

Definitely an UNSUPPORTED configuratino.

Get the firewall OFF the DC ASAP.

HTH,
Tom

You installed DC, ISA2k6 and Exchange 2007 !!!

are you sure ?

Exchange 2007 is a 64 bit software !!

and ISA Server can not be installed on a 64bit OS !!

and yes Keep ISA Server as  a Firewall.
