mrnato -> ISA + Symantec Enpoint Protection Manager (28.May2008 8:33:43 PM)
|
Hi, wondering if I can get some help solving an issue... The issue is a SEP client cannot connect with the server containing SEPM because of ISA. I have been in contact with Symantec over this and they seem as stumped as me and keep telling me I need to exclude the server that hosts SEPM from ISA. ISA is on the same server as SEPM so this makes little sense to me. I have made rules to allow the ports they say are needed and there seems to be a rule to allow all internal traffic anyhow. The problem I am having is the client pc goes to connect to secreg/secreg?l=2 but in the ISA logs it says its anonymous user and the connection is denied, but another link to test connectivity to secars works fine. Both these "sites" have the same settings in IIS. I'm hoping this is just a rule or something set wrong as Symantec seem to be unhelpful on the problem.
