I just want some validation as to my thoughts on something I will need to do:

So a client of mine has ISA Enterprise in workgroup with Configuration Storage and ISA on same box.  It's set for Windows Authentication.  They want to add a new node and I understand that we'll have to request a certificate with Server Authentication with the name of the Configuration Storage Server.  Since we're using Enterprise CA (Server 2003 Standard) we'll have to request a Web Certificate since it has Server Authentication.  I believe this should enable LDAPS on the CSS.

I should then be able to install the the second Array node as far as I believe.

But let's say we want to move the existing CSS/ISA box to the domain.  Would we have to re-build or can we simply leave Windows Authentication on, join it to the domain, and expect it to still work?

You can join it to the domain and then add the second ISA firewall array member without having to install a server certificate on the CSS machine.
