lsalgado -> publish two owa servers from same org (2.Jun.2008 11:36:58 AM)

we just added a exch2k3 server into our org and when a user is moved from the old to the new server owa does'nt work anymore.

is it possible to publish two owa sites from the same org, behind the isa firewall. protecting both of them with a wildcard certificate?

the migration will take a while some users will be on the old server and others will be on the new server, and i would like owa to work for the users on the new exchange server.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

The most elegant option (and MS best practice) is to implement an Exchange Front-End (FE) server and publish this - this will then work out which back-end server is hosting the mailbox and provides the nicest option by far...

However, from an ISA perspective ISA can route publishing based upon URL or path so you have two options:

Use a new URL and configure two publishing rules; this way the old URL publishes to the old Exchange server and the new URL publishes to the new Exchange server.

Use a new path and configure two publishing rules one with /exchange that publishes the old server and /somethingelse that publishes the new server

These "dirty" options will work, but not as nicely as the FE idea.

Cheers
