Hi

I have installed  the ISA 2006 Ent. management console on XP machine. My computer is member of domain and i m login with sufficient previleges. When i run ISA_UserCheck access tool on my machine (Where ISA management console installed), it can pull my Active Directory details but can not show me User access policy of ISA. It throws the below error:-

Connect ISA: Exception from HRESUTL: 0xC00403A6...as click on the OK BUTTON it shows....Object reference not set to an instance of an object...On clicking OK -- OK... it shows RETRIVING DATA but it does not retrive any data.

Anybody are facing such problem ????

Is your CSS server separate from the ISA2006 server you are trying to connect to? 

Did you put in a valid server name in the textbox labeled 'ISA'?

Download the latest binary from http://www.sync-io.net/Files/ISA_UserAccessChk_Binary.zip (updated today) and send me a screenshot of the error to chris@sync-io.net

Dear Chris,

We have installed the ISA 2006 Firewall and CSS on same machine. I have mentioned the IP and also try with FQDN name on textbox labeled ISA.

I had downloaded the same yesterday and checked but not workin.

I will download today and check it again and let you know.

I have tried with newly ISA User access check utility but this time it could not connect to ISA Server. The error is :
                     UNABLE to connect to ISA Server
                     EXCEPTION FROM HRESULT: 0xC00403A6

Can you tell me what happens when you run ISA User Access Check on the local ISA machine with the ISA textbox blank?

Sorry for so late reply.

I tried on local machine (ISA 2006 Ent.) but still it gives the same error i.e

                    UNABLE to connect to ISA Server
                    EXCEPTION FROM HRESULT: 0xC00403A6 .

Hay, i just run the, ISA_UserAccessChk.exe. I have not registered the file Interop.FPCLib.dll in Microsoft ISA Server Installation folder.

Is it required to register this Interop.FPCLib.dll file ???

You do need to have the admin console installed. So yes, the necessary DLLs must be registered.

Hi Chris,

I got the error in registering the InteropFPCLib.dll.

The error is :- 
                   C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\Interop.FPCLib.dll was
                    loaded but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.

                    This file can not be registerd.

I have applied the below command in run (with admin priviledges)

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\Interop.FPCLib.dll"

The dll should self register when you install the admin Console.
