Hi alli have just finished configuring my ISA 2004 Server on our network and we are using direct access to the internet with DHCPi have installed the Firewall client in most of the users and what i what is to prevent non firewall clients from accessing the internet at all can you please help me on this Thanks in advance

hi,

you can simply accomplish this by removing the condition ALL USERS from your outbound rules and change it with ALL Authenticated Users or by users/groups from your active directory.

all users are Authenticated users as they are a domain users, so changing ALL USERS to all ALL Authenticated Users didn't change any thing,
what happened is that i have just installed ISA Server and i'm using Firewall client instead of SecureNAT and i want all users to go throw the ISA Server and if the user is not Firewall Client the ISA Server should prevent hem form accessing the internet

please advice

How many NICs do you have on your ISA Server ?

what rules do you have on ISA ? can you provide us with a screen shot ?

Actually i am wondering how your clients are still able to go to the internet !

Rule # 2 will block HTTP . so how ur internal clients are still able to access the internet ?

the rule is just to block the live streaming and allow all others
