HI all, i have a ISA2006 newly installed machine but internal network users can't ping via NetBIOS name but from IP can ping, i just upgrade from ISA2004 from ISA2006, before upgrading client can ping ISA2004 machine via NetBIOS name, any resolution, we have must required this because i have a Pub folder for eveyone internal user to drop some files. Thanks

Hi, Let me see if I got it. Is this pub folder located at ISA server? it´s seems to me that this is a DNS problem. Can you ping on ISA´s FQDN? Why are you putting holes into your firewall !! from using it to file server into opening ping to it !! your firewall will be easily attacked in such scenario , and believe me, it will be infected by virus and much more!!
