Which antivirus realtime scanner for the file system do you guys use on ISA

I'm not talking about an ISA plug-in to do gateway antivirus, bbut standard file system protection of ISA itself

A lot of the newer AV's (even corporate ones) are implementing restrictions on your newtwork connections (Trend Micro now has a web filter built in to their realrime scanner)

I really would not like to interefere with the network connections on the ISA, so does anyone know of an antivirus that works well

Hi Jens,

I never install a host scanning AV scanner on the ISA firewall, since it's not required. If you manage the ISA firewall correctly, there is no way for malware to get onto the firewall. I don't install AV on PIX or ASA, and I don't install it on the firewall.

Tom

Hi Jens,

Check Toms Blog here : Do Not Install a Host AV Program on the ISA Firewall!
