My customer (SBS 2003 Dual NIC & ISA 2004) has Mapoint on internal PCs with a 3rd party COM add-in, which updates the maps in real-time with gps co-ordinates of people in the field.
The COM addin is supposed to connect via http on port 80, to the external server providing the position data.
I can't get it to work, I've tried configuring Direct Access per Part 1 of Dr. Tom's article, adding the IP address of that External Server but no joy....
Any pointers?
