Jit@bhail.com -> Forms Authentciation (29.Jun.2008 11:01:29 AM)

I have a sharepoint site. Its been configured to allow external partners to view the site by using custom forms authentication. By this I mean that users are verified against .net membership DB on SQL server (.net Authentication). I can't use LDAP (ISA is outside of the domain) as some of the external users aren't created within the active directory but rather as external web users. The assumption is the site works the same way as any web site that would use custom forms authentication.

So I created a web access rule that doesn't authenticate against ISA 2006 but does allow client authentication and forwards the header. When I try to access the site it changes the URL to the Login URL. Great. But then just hangs without displaying anything.

URL: http://www.example.com/
Result: http://www.example.com/_layouts/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f

I've tried this on several machines. Not sure where the issue is. ISA obviously allows the routing. Sharepoint knows it needs to redirect. Then it all goes horribly wrong. Help !?

After further testing....it does work but takes 20 mins between pages. 20 mins to logiun and then 20 mins for each page. Thoughts?
