hello...i am using isa server 2006... i have 30 comps in my network, all using firewall client. from 1 of june i have a problem with connection of Icq 6. i cant login at icq. when i press connect it sais "no connection". then i donwloaded and installed latest build of Icq 6 and i have allmost the same, when i press log in i have a message "standby" and nothing happenes. no connection at all. i've tried to change to port 443 - but still the same. then i look isa monitor... and no connections at all.

when i put Gateway IP of  ISA in tcp settings on client machine - all works fine. but it is a securenat that i dont need.

help me pleeseee... i read that a lot of people experience that problem from 1st of july, i heard that aol.com change protocol or smth.
maybe i need to add or change in Firewall settings in Isa ???

It sounds like 2 things are happening. 
  1. Your gateway firewall or router (non-ISA) is not allowing the ICQ protocol out. 
  2. The new ICQ is not set up to use ISA as a proxy, which is how you circumvented the #1 issue in the past.  Or, some filter on ISA is blocking the traffic now and was allowing it before.
But this is just a guess.

ahh sorry maybe u did not understand me...
the gateway is the ISA server computer (i mean no other gateways or firewalls in network).
i have a rule that allows all internet traffic to all users. some days ago all worked fine and now it is not. i did not change anything.
all filers are ok. nothing blocks traffic.

btw when i load ICQ 5.1 and try to login - it logins perfect and i see the connection in ISA monitor. but then it sais to update to 6 version of ICQ (i wanted to say that previous versions are working atm). but when i manually install ICQ 6 and set connection settings correct - it is not workicg at all, even i cant see any connection in ISA monitor(no activity at all).
