ezpcc -> imap service stopped working (4.Jul.2008 1:46:29 PM)

For some reason my published mail services have stopped working. The following log was generated on ISA for all mail publishing protocols, [this one is for the IMAPS Server] Event Type: Warning Event Source: Microsoft Firewall Event Category: None Event ID: 14090 Date: 7/4/2008 Time: 12:13:06 AM User: N/A Computer: ISA2004 Description: Server publishing rule [Mail Server IMAPS Server] that maps xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:993 TCP to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:993 for protocol [IMAPS Server] was unable to bind a socket for the server. The server publishing rule cannot be applied. I initially found that the wild card cert and the mail server cert both expired. So I recreated them as outlined in Tom's ISA Server 2004 tutorial regarding Publishing Muiltple web Sites using a Wild Card Cert in ISA Server 2004. Then I updated the Web Listener for the wild card SSL to use the new cert. Web mail is working fine so this tells me the 2 certs are correct as far as web mail goes but for the mail server publishing there seems to be a problem. When monitoring the connection attempts, it fails when ISA tries to forward the requests to the mail server. Logs Denied Connection so I configured outlook in the inside of the network directly connecting to the mail server. This also works however there is an initial warning message that pops up stating the following: The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. The certificate CN name does not match the passed value. This is not new since I am using my own Server 2003 to manage and create my SSL certificates. But, the reference to the CN name is new. I am wondering if this has anything to do with the ISA server not being able to bind to the mail server...[&o] Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance [:)]
