hsingh -> ISA server with 2 Nic - publishing owa (15.Jul.2008 12:21:27 PM)

Hi All,

I have ISA server 2006 with 1 NIC curently.I am using the ISA server only for web caching / proxy server.
I would like to use this server for publishing my owa etc as well.

my plan is to put another network card (lan2)on the ISA server and connect that card to my current firewall (cisco ASA).
so lets say if i am hitting my asa from outside on port 443 and asa will forward it to the lan2 of the ISA.

1)How shall i configure this card
2)Do i need to create seperate networks in ISA.
3)what rules shall i add on my existing configuration.
4)Is their any document for 2 nic's for my scenario.

pls help

thanks

Harry

1) Configure the lan2 in the same network of ASA.
2) There´s no need, use the external network element
3) Depends on your ISA access rules
4) Follow this link, maybe it will give you a better ideia:
