Has anyone else tried using the latest SCOM Management Pack for ISA Server 2006. It was released a week or so ago, but we are having problems with it showing our ISA Servers as "Not Monitored". W also have the Windows management pack whcih is montiroing the server fine, so the issue doens't appear to be with communications, just the actual ISA management pack itself.
We are starting to see this with customers with the same symptoms...the only systems we have tested with are currently running ISA SP1, so not sure if the same happens with ISA 2006 RTM.
just start playing with SCOM 2007 in a lab environment. I've upgraded the ISA MP (converted) 6.0.5000.0 to the latest ISA MP 6.0.6351.0 and see also that the computer state is 'Healthy' but that the ISA MP shows 'Not Monitored'.
Sorry to thread hijack, but I can't even get ISA to talk to the SCOM server. By this I mean I can't even telnet inbound on 5723 (the SCOM port) to the SCOM servers.
It's a non-domain server in the DMZ and the network guys opened the ports inbound. They aren't even seeing traffic to the SCOM server on this port.
FYI, we have our ISAset up so we can acknowledge SCOM alerts via our mobile phones and this works fine. My point is that this isn't a simple routing issue or anything. We can connect to the SCOM box via 443 from the ISA server.
Thoughts? Help? What am I missing on the ISA side?
I have the same problem with the the latest ISA MP 6.0.6351.0. The computer state is 'Healthy' but that the ISA MP shows 'Not Monitored'.
I have an ISA 2006 version without Service Pack.
I installed the previous ISA MP (converted) 6.0.5000.0 and here, the ISA MP shows "Healthy" for the state.... but in the part "Repporting" of SCOM 2007, there was not directory to create any kind of reports for ISA.
Is that someone had the same problem with the "Reporting" part of ISA with the ISA MP (converted) 6.0.5000.0 ? And is someone has found the reason why the latest ISA MP 6.0.6351.0 shows "Not monitored" in SCOM 2007 ? Cheers. Vaan.
