Hi everyone,

I have performed an article from Mr Shinder and all protocols is working except RPC over HTTP. There is no way. I have verified the configuration and everything is fine.

I have read the previous posts related to this topic and there are many users with the same problem. It does not look a problem from ISA Server 2006, but RPC over HTTP Proxy service itself, because some users have resolved the problems after removing and reinstalling this service.

I have checked this workaround and it does not work.

On the client computer the browser shows the following error after I try to check the RPC virtual directory:

Error code: 500 Internal Server Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP filter. Contact the server administrator (12217)

I have set the HTTP filter for the RPC over HTTP rule as Mr Shinder describes at the end of this article:

http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Publishing-Outlook-Web-Access-Outlook-RPCHTTP-ISA-Server-2006-Firewalls-Forms-based-Authentication-Part4.html

Thank you very much for your answers,

Greetings,

Xus

P.S.: OWA works fine.

This is normal, as the HTTP filters remove the GET method which will be used by a standard browser.

You can add the 'GET' method into the HTTP filter on the RPC/HTTP rule for testing and then remove it again later.

Cheers

JJ
