I have an ISA Server 2006 Standard configured as a back firewall, the front firewall is a Cisco where I terminate my VPN clients.
My client wants to allow for the authenticated VPN clients to be able to access some shares on the network, which means I have to publish Netbios to the DMZ. Is this possible? or I have to create access rules for this?

it depends on your network relationship. If you´re using NAT then you must use publishing rules, if you´re using ROUTE then you should use access rules or publishing. But my advice to you in this case (route) is to use access rules.

Create an access rule using the Microsoft CIFS TCP protocol for file share access.
