I am having strange thing happening with HTTP rule. Or may be it is the way firewall works, please help me if you can.

I have setup IIS with port 80 and 443. Certificate installed on IIS and then I export it into ISA Server 2006.  I have created new listener and added certificate. I can access site with http and https. I can redirect with code. Everything works. I am using C# to determine if request is not secure and trying to redirect user to secure protocol.

<%@ Page Language="C#" %>
<script runat="server">

   private void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
   {
       // Check whether the browser remains
       // connected to the server.
       if (Response.IsClientConnected)
       {
           // If still connected, redirect
           // to another page.
           Response.Redirect("https://www.website.com?secure=" + Request.IsSecureConnection, false);
       }
       else
       {
           // If the browser is not connected
           // stop all response processing.
           Response.End();
       }
   }

</script>
<html>
<head runat="server">
</head>
<body>
   <form runat="server">
   </form>
</body>
</html>

ASP.NET doen't show me that my request is secured even I am on HTTPS request. Some how I am accessing HTTPS request on port 80. How can I make it to work on port 443?

Why not configure the listener to redirect HTTP to HTTPS?

Thanks!
Tom

Thank you for your reply. Well I did that before and it is working fine. But I would like to use both. Do you know any way to keep them both? HTTPS and HTTP. And with my code when you access shopping cart I would like to redirect to HTTPS. Otherwise it is always HTTPS. My rule works. It just ASP.NET or Coldfusion doesn't show me that I am on secured protocol. My request processed as http://www.websitename:443. I put hack in my code to check if request is http or https by looking at url path. But this not right way. I fully understand that ISA Server creates single request and then using same request calles different port 80 or 443 but how can I force ISA server to create new request to use eather different rule or re-bind connection to same web publishing rule. Any ideas?

Thanks
