I have an application which connects to my web service.  Some of our clients are using ISA server as their proxy.  The webservice uses Digest authentication and the proxy uses Windows authentication.  My code authenticates against the proxy ok and the request is sent to the web service, however the digest authentication fails.  Using a network sniffer it appears that ISA changes the acutal http method call when it forwards the request.  For example, when not using a proxy the http method call uses a relative uri, this matches the uri in the www-authenticate header that is sent to the webservice so the request works, when using ISA as a proxy however, it uses an absolute uri, the uri sent in the www-authenticate header is still relative so the webbservice instantly returns a http 400 error because the uris don't match.  Is there anyway of preventing ISA from changing the uri?  I have tried o verridding the uri on the digest authentication code to match the request from ISA, this prevents the 400 error but means the authentication still fails because the hash has been changed.
