stevedurban -> Exchang on same server as ISA 2004 problems (9.Dec.2008 5:38:40 PM)

Hi All

im having trouble with an installation that has ISA2004 and exchange on the same server.

The server has 2 network cards, lan(192.168.1.x) and wan (192.168.100.x)

Exchange is working fine, sending and receiving, and and has a manual rule, that allows port 80 to hit the local host to allow OWA. All is fine.

I tried to run the mail-server publishing rule, to allow owa, oma and activesync to be setup properly. The rule sets up ok, but just will not forward the traffic. It shows in the logging screen - rule denied, almost as though the rule just isnt there!

We are not even complicating things with SSL's yet, just standard port 80..

Anyone have any advice?

thanks

Steve

Yes, unless this is SBS 2003 take all the apps off the ISA box. It's a firewall, not a server.

If it's SBS run the connect to the internet wizard.
