Hello once again dear friends,

I have here a two node array which has been running fine for quite sometime. One of the servers broke recently however (long story, someone tried putting SurfControl on and it didn't like it) and I was asked to rebuild it which I did.

I added it back into the array no problem and it all looks to be working fine, all of the services up and running from the CSS, and it works as a proxy etc.

The problem I have is that when I set a default query off to have a look at traffic running through the array, it is only showing traffic on the other server (the one which wasn't rebuilt). The one I added back in looks to have no activity at all, if I point my browser at it direcly it works but nothing shows up on the log for it.

We are using NLB and therfore a VIP on the internal interface. I am wondering if maybe NLB hasn't realised that it is back in the array but I wouldn't know how to tell it that specifically.

It was removed from the array gracefylly by the way and given the same name and IP.

Many thanks.

Is the NLB binding enabled in the properties of the network card on the replaced server?

You can check the status of NLB  by running wlbs at a command prompt with various switches.

Cheers

JJ
