hello,
I have ISA server 2000 on windows 2000 server, and firewall client v4.0 installed on windows XP. All applications on local PC, uses the firewall winsocks client to go through the internet.
But now, I want  mozilla.exe don't use winsock ? Is it possible ? How to ?
Any references or  help would be very appreciate.
Thank for the time you spend to me.

Configure the client as a Web proxy client, then it won't use the FWC configuration.

HTH,

Hi,

I forgot about ISA 2000, but I think its the same.

For example In ISA Server 2004 Management Console, General Node > Define Firewall Client Settings

you add a new application name , for example skype and then DisableEX and then set the value to 1

The Following is from the help file of ISA Server 2004
quote:

Possible values: 0 or 1. When the value is set to 1, the Firewall Client application is disabled for the specific client application. Applies only to Firewall Client for ISA Server 2004. When set, overrides the Disable setting. For example, for svchost, DisableEx is enabled by default.
