Hi

Sorry for my laziness in not searching the forums throroughly before posting this.  I will do tomorrow but am about to go home.

We have ISA Standard 2004.  We intend setting up several servers in a data centre for disaster recovery purposes.

I had planned that one of the co-lo machnes would be an ISA server and we could send data over the VPN.  In fact, the co-lo machines would be part of our WAN and would include a backup domain controller so our user accounts etc were backed up too.

However, I note that the licence is over GBP1,000 so wondered if there were alternatives that would work with the ISA server?  It might even be worthwhile using an alternative option at each end of the WAN, just to handle the traffic going to and from the co-lo site.

Obviously the GBP1,000 for the ISA licence is a small part of the overall budget for this so I'm probably being penny wise and pound foolish.

I've used some of the SOHO/small units from NetScreen/Juniper with ISA as they are good for simple site-to-site VPN termination at small offices...

Cheers

Or you can take a look at Vyatta. Their latest version includes multiple choices for VPN s2s.
