I was just wondering if someone can tell me the difference between "disabling HTTP caching" and selecting "Never, no content will ever be cached." in a Cache rule?   Is the never, no content will ever be cached used as a blanket setting to disable FTP and HTTP caching in the rule?  Why would I pick one or the other? Would I use the uncheck the Enable HTTP Caching and Enable FTP caching checkboxes method for more granularity?

Disabling HTTP caching turns off the feature all together, whereas the "never, no content will ever be cached" is normally used with a specific domain set, not globally.

This option is normally used when you have external sites that you don't want to be cached and you create a cache rule to achieve this; whilst still caching all other sites...

Cheers

JJ
