I made a rule for internal to external port 3389.This worked great and i used it for some time. But now it doenst work anymore
im getting this error in the log Protocol: Unidentified IP Traffic (TCP:1745). i put some rules in but dunno what could be the problem.

i logged in from an other external site and that worked so it must be this isaserver.

The ISA Firewall client uses the above UDP and TCP port. Have you tried capturing and inspecting the unidentified traffic?
In troubleshooting, well other than asking yourself the number one most ask question in IT support – “what has changed to cause this problem” maybe not by you but a co-worker? Seeing the log information you provided makes me think that you’re having a Firewall client issue- that is if you’re using the ISA Firewall client. If you are, then I would check the ISA Firewall client connectivity using the tool below:

Hello Rotorblade,

I tested with the firewall tool and all seemed fine .
how can i monitor unidentified traffic?
as for the coworker, everything seems to work but the rdp rule.
i thought when i monitor my ip i can see why it wont get to that rule?
but instead i see the 1745 error.
please help!

Kind regards,
