I am new to ISA 2006 and followed a vide that I found online that walked through setting up VPN (not site-to-site) in ISA 2006. I followed it exactly and it doesn't seem to even work.

I can't even get to it from the outside (never "connects").
I checked the rules in our Cisco ASA firewall and they are fine. So that tells me ISA2006 is blocking the PPTP connection for some reason.

I set the address assignment to DHCP.
The Access Networks is External.
Authentication is "Microsoft encrypted authenitcation version 2 (MS-CHAPv2)
I am not using RADIUS for authentication

VPN Clients is enabled (100 limit)
Groups is set to DOMAIN USERS
Protocols has PPTP enabled
User mapping enabled with our domain name (AEM)

VPN Policy (ALLOW VPN to Internal) is Enabled
Allows All outbound traffic from VPN Clients to Local Host and Internal network
(All Users) and is set to always

I see this was posted in July,...and no answer.

We can't know what the video told you to do.

We can't know what "it doesn't seem to even work" means unless you descibe it specifically.

Do you happen to have server 2008 R2 or have installed any recent updates?
I have the same issue and have recently upgraded my DC's to server 2008 R2: http://forums.isaserver.org/VPN_break_after_upgrade_to_Server_2008_R2/m_2002092370/tm.htm

I haven't been able to find anything specific on it.  When I do searches for it I only see a bunch of people asking the question,..with no one getting any answers.

I am running W2K3Sp1 on both my AD controller/DHCP/DNS server, and the ISA2K6 server...all of them patched as much as can be.
I'm reading articles about DHCP and Relay Agents and how to allow that protocol to get to the client and back, but IIRC, I didn't need to do any of that stuff on other ISA's I've set up. It just worked.
Now I've got one that doesn't work and it's ticking me off!

Mine "just worked" as well.  All I did was enable Remote Access VPN in the ISA MMC and tell it that the users are supposed to get their address via DHCP instead of a static pool.  That is all I ever do and it always "just works".  When people start oepning the RRAS MMC and poke around in it,...that is always when the trouble begins.
