I know ISA isn't like you standard consumer firewall but is it possible

Sure, it's possible.  Go to a command prompt and type the following command:

net stop fweng /y

That will completely disable the firewall.  Careful though...if you have network interfaces connected to untrusted networks (e.g. the Internet) you are exposed and potentially vulnerable, depending on the configuration of the base operating system.

Thanks as I have also been wanting to know how to disable the firewall.

Will this command disable the proxy as well?

also what would be the commands to start the firewall again or would one have to restart the Actual server with ISA on it?

Stopping the Firewall Engine driver (by using net stop fweng /y at the command prompt) also stops the other firewall components, which opens the computer to all network traffic and its highly not recommended
But instead you can stop the Firewall service (net stop fwsrv) which puts the ISA Server computer in lockdown mode and allows only a limited set of protocols to and from the ISA Server computer itself.

Use net start to start the services manually or a reboot of the ISA box should start all the stopped services
