Is there anything in particular in ISA 2006 that would cause a particular website to be slow when accessing it in HTTPS instead of HTTP.   I have a client that accesses an offsite MRP database via internet explorer.  Recently the company hosting the database implemented HTTPS and wants the client to access via HTTPS protocol.  When they do this certain areas timeout, however when accessing via HTTP everything works fine.  I have the site in the "direct access" list of ISA 2006 so it's not being cached or proxied.  All clients are using the ISA 2006 Firewall Client as a mode of access.  The ISA 2006 configuration is pretty much barebones... no content filtering, etc etc.  We basically use it just to limit particular websites and monitor where people are going.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you confirmed that there isn't the same problem with the ISA firewall isn't in the path?

Thanks!
Tom

I have not... you think I should remove the firewall client and set the client up as SecureNAT?

No simply try to connect to this site without going through ISA Server at all to see if it makes any difference.
From broadband, anything but through ISA.

What happens when the ISA firewall isn't in the path?

Thanks!
