Can anyone tell me if its possible to create two separate rules for FTP.

I want one rule to allow upload and download to one group of users and another to only allow download to another set of users.

I know you can modify the protocol FTP to allow Read Only but that would mean I couldn't use it for a read and write group.

Hi,

yes, you can. FTP upload control, is per-rule basis.

Just make sure they have firewall clients installed.

If that's not sufficient (i.e. if your clients are unmanaged or external) I know that the company Teccon has a more sophisticated access control FTP filter for ISA.

Just create 2 rules then.

One that allows FTP download/upload to your specific set of users (AD group) and another one for download only with the other AD group.
