Hi,

I need some basic help please with the configuration of ISA 2004.

I have an "Internet Access" policy set up for the whole company which consists of a Deny rule applied to all outbound traffic from Internal to External but has a company "domain access set" setup in the Exceptions box situated within the "To" Tab.

However, for sites such as Google this now allows access to everything within the domain! eg. videos, mail etc.
If I add google within the URL Set instead of a Domain Name Set this wrecks everything and it goes haywire!

Is there a simple way of just blocking specific URL's
eg. www.video.google.co.uk?

Please help!

Thanks for the link Paulo, but the information is very confusing!
It doesn't seem to give the exact answer to my question.

How do I allow access to say Google maps. www.google.co.uk/maps
but block access to Google video. www.video.google.co.uk

If I put www.google.co.uk in the domain set this just allows everything. If I put it into the URL set this doesn't seem to work either.

Can you help me with the correct set up for this.
What should I be typing and where??

Hi,

Add *.google.co.uk in the allow list & *.video.google.co.uk in the block list.

Ensure Block rule is above allow rule.
