I've installed/configured TMG on Server 2008 R2 as a domain member, DC is Windows 2003 AD/Enterprise CA to allow SSTP connections......BUT

From Windows 7, I get

Error 0x8007274C: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

I have followed all parts of this article: (My setup is a physical box with two NIC's)
http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Configuring-TMG-Beta-3-SSTP-VPN-Connections-Part1.html

Ran ISA BPA:

An access rule has an empty set of destinations :
No destination is defined in the access rule Blocked Web Destinations. No traffic can match this rule. To correct this issue, go to the Firewall Policy node and modify the access rule.

The WFP Filter Conflict Detected error alert was signaled 1 times :
Events that triggered the alert: 12/9/2009 2:11:20 PM - Forefront TMG detected Windows Filtering Platform filters that may cause policy conflicts on the server Server. The following providers may define filters that conflict with the Forefront TMG firewall policy: Microsoft Corporation.

The output is empty for:
netsh http show sslcert

But the certificate can be seen with MMC and when assigning to the SSTP listener.
Anything else I can check?

Thanks

Did you create the listener for the SSTP Listener?

Is the firewall a domain member?

Is the CRL published?

Thanks!
Tom

Thanks for the reply.

The answer to your questions was yes.

I started again from scratch. Reinstalled the OS and TMG.

All is working now. The difference now is that I am using a commercial certificate.

I like SSTP. SSTP is my friend

Thanks again.
