Hi All

We have an internal web based application hosted on a internal web server. All the clients are accessing the application on LAN. I want to publish my internal website on Internet. I have created a web server publishing rule but i dont understand how internet users will access my internal website. Is it secure to publish internal website using ISA Server.
My ISA Server is working in Edge firewall configuration.

Please Help!

Hi,

they will acess your published URL (DNS name), example, www.yoursiteURL.com.

ISA is one of the best options you have to publish web sites, because it has a powerful HTTP filter (highly configurable). It is capable of inspect HTTP and HTTP encrypted (SSL) traffic.
Another advantage is pre-authentication feature, it is about do not let anonymous connections hit your internal web server.
You can publish multiples web sites using one IP address.

Check this articles for more info: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/ISA-2006-Firewall-Web-Publishing-Rules.html

Hi,

publish your web site using DNS names and not IPs.

Paulo Oliveira.

Hi Paulo,

Am I corect in assuming  that  multiple 3G IP cameras can be hosted on a single IP address using this method? And can each camera go to a vitual machine?

I apologise for asking such difficult questions on my initial look at the forum.

Thanks in advance

John
