Why install DHCP on the ISA Server

I don't know if this is the correct forum for this question but here it goes anyway. . .

Can somebody explain to me why the ISA 2000 Quick Start guide recommends running the DHCP server on the same box as the ISA 2000 server.  I can see why you would set up the DNS server in cache mode on the ISA box and since I didn't have to remove or deactivate the DNS server that 's already running on another server, I really didn't have a problem with it.  They apparently want me to kill a DHCP server that's working fine on another machine and transfer it over to the ISA server and I really didn't see any good reason for it.  Does it have to be running on the ISA box in order for the DNS to properly function?
