Hello,

I have tried to configure the ISA as web proxy by using standard guides, but I could not

. My scenario as the following:

We are using ADSL modem to access the Internet and we would like to use ISA as a proxy (gateway) and let user authenticate whenever they open browser to access Internet. Authentication must be different than domain.

We have hardware server (ISA 2006 SP1) with 2 NIC Card ready.

ADSL modem*
Static IP: 192.168.1.254
DNS (ISP): 212.121.12.1, 212.121.12.1
*This ADSL modem connected to the switch.

Current Client configuration for accessing Internet [without using (ISA)]
IP: 192.168.1.2
GW: 192.168.1.254
DNS: 192.168.1.1 (Local DNS)

1. What is the proper network configuration for ISA cards?
2. What will be the proper network configuration for each client eligible for internet (NIC & Browser)?
3. Is there any special configuration e.g. forward should be configured?

I hope I will get a proper configuration.
