Hello everyone,

My current setup is Windows2003 Servers with Exchange2007 and ISA2006. I use all the punlishing options of ISA for exchange and, I don't remember exactly at which point (maybe during OutlookAnwhere setup) I had to setup my e-mail's domain (mydomain.com) in my local DNS server. This of course, causes all internal resolution to remain in the inside.

The problem now is that ourwebsite is hosted externally and it uses th same name (mydomain.com). As you understand, this does not allow us to access that web page because the traffic remains local due to DNS.

Is there a practical resolution/workaround to this?

Add the external name record to your local DNS and define the public IP address as appropriate.

Yes but that way, the web site will work but the e-mail domain which is on the inside will not (I guess)

ok, here's what I did. I left the autodiscover and owa A records as they were (pointing internally) and modified the www record to point to the correct external webserver. The same IP works ok from my home but within that network now, it just opens a blank white page and status bar displays 'done'.

I also flushed DNS on client and deleted IE temp files. NSLOOKUP shows the correct ip on the client.

ok, after a few hours it just worked. I don't know the reason though yet since I already flushed dns. Maybe I should have flushed the Server's cache as well?

Anyway, it's fine now.
