I am new to ISA 2004 and I am trying to configure access control policies based on the user's profile. In simply words i would like to create user based as opposed to ip based policies.

I want some users to have access to the internet while other users would not. I want policies to apply to the user profile and not the machine directly.

Any help on this would appreciated!!!!

Hi
babatola

Its never IP based unless you specify it

Create a policy as per your requirement & in the exceptions tab just add the windows user /group to exclude them form the policy (Make sure its set to all authenticated users)

Adding.... it would depend on if ISA is Domain member and not using SecureNAT client access.
