Hi,
I have a direct access UAG that works fine on my forest. I also have a 2-way trust with another forest and in that forest I can't map drives, or reach the exchange server with a direct access client. I added the other domain's DCs in tne infrastructure setup, but it still doesn't go through.

any ideas?

thanks in advance

Hi,

Likely to be a DNS issue. Make sure NRTP is configured so that DA clients use an internal DNS server when attempting to resolve names belonging to the second forest.

Did you add the second forest DNS suffix to your NRPT using the DA wizard?

I assume UAG (and TMG) has IP-level connectivity to servers in the other forest?

Cheers

JJ

Can you establish SMB access to any servers in the forest in question?

Thanks!
Tom
