I need to forward all external traffic (from the web) coming in on port 8181 to port 80 of a computer on the internal LAN. Can anyone tell me how I should configure this in ISA 2004 please?

I am a complete novice so idiots guide please.

Hi,

you can take this article as an example: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Creating-Configuring-Non-SSL-Web-Publishing-Rules-Part3.html

On the Listener Properties you can specify port 8181 and at the Bridging tab you can specify 80 port.

Regards,
Paulo Oliveira.

Thanks for the help Paulo,

The article helped me to set this up.

I still have one problem with this though. I can now browse externally to port 80 of the computer on my LAN from most external networks but I've come across one that cannot.

I setup logging in ISA server and it is denying connection from this external ip address. It states 'A packet was dropped because ISA Server determined that the source IP address is spoofed.'

Have you any idea what this means and how I can fix it. Unfortunately this is the only IP address I want to allow access, so it's important I fix it.

Thank you,
Tom

Hi,

when ISA alerts about spoofing is because the IP address trying the connection is not included on ISA´s Network definition.

More on ISA´s Network concept: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Overview-ISA-TMG-Networking-ISA-Networking-Case-Study-Part1.html
