salam Every one,

i am administrator of my Net cable. i have 30 user on my network. i install on my server DHCP, Active Directory, and ISA 2004. dhcp give ip on user pc automatically. i reserve user Mac address in dhcp. During installing ISA 2004 i click Add adapter and select LAN card and then next and finish.
I want to block ip address after 30 user because i want any other persoan do not use my net before my permission. and plzz tell me if i success to block ip address after 30 when come new user how to give ip dhcp automatically.

Hi,

first of all, it is bad practice to install other roles in the same ISA machine. Since, ISA is a firewall you should treat it accordingly and not increase it�s attack surface putting other services on it�s machine.

Microsoft has very specific configuration to support ISA co-location with a DC. For more info, check my blog: Supportability for ISA/TMG co-location with a DC

To solve your problem you can restrict the amount of IPs DHCP server will distribute and also restrict ISA firewall Internal Network definition to these 30 IPs.
