how can i block all websites except some approval websites in ISA server 2006

So do i understand you have a fresh install of ISA Server 2006, where it has a single deny rule . right ?

if this is right, then everything is blocked by default, and now you only need to create allow firewall policy for the Domain Name Sets or URL Sets that you wish to enable access to.

So first Create a Domain Name Set/ URL Set and fill these with the websites you want to allow .

Then Create an Allow Firewall Policy and into the Destination Network, instead of using External Network, select the Domain Name Set/URL Set that you created in the previous step.

Hi all,

I have a problem while blocking the URL Sets.
So let me explain the problem and i don't still understand why

.
I have 2 ISA Server, one for students with isa 2k4 std version and another for staffs with isa 2k6 std version too.
For both i have using the same policies and rules for access in/out.
So for students isa server, i placed the blocking rule in the first line (by order)and it works well, i can block all url sets that i specifie into destination.
But the second isa server for staffs, if i placed the rule in the first line, isa server works for around 10mn and block all access to external. if i placed just before the last of the rules, isa continue to works without taking care my blocking rule.
Here is my rule:
Name Block Website --> Action Deny --> Protocol HTTP/HTTPS --> From Internal --> To URL Sets --> All Users --> No Schedule No Content Types.
What's wrong with my system?...
