Hi

I have been using ISA 2004 for some time and have recently had a need to remove http from some of my website that are starting to transmit personal data. I have used the "Notify users to use HTTPS..." tick box for the required rule.

The error returned appears to be using the default.htm but the error it returns is 12211 or the 403-4 error.

I have created 12211r.htm, 403-4r.htm and 403r.htm to try to force a custom error page which I can amend to show a little more information but for some reason, the ISA server is still returning the generic error page.

Is there something I need to do to wire that up or should it use the page if it's available in the ErrorHtmls folder?

Perhaps a caching issue or something?

Can anyone shed any light?

Hi Simon,

it is not supported to use custom pages on ISA 2004. It is only supportable to do on ISA 2006 and TMG 2010.

The best option here, IMHO, is to configured the listerner to redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS.
