Hello everyone,
I have to deploy for a client a TMG server as reverse proxy to a lync server. There is a hardware firewall (Fortigate) as a "front" firewall in their network.
What is the best setup for this configuration? Configure TMG based on the "Back Firewall" network Template? My TMG will have two nics, one for the internal and one for the DMZ.
Do I have to make my TMG server a domain member for this setup? Some guidance would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Bruno

TMG doesn't handle client authentication in a Lync publishing scenario. Requests are forwarded as-is, so workgroup or domain makes no real difference.

There's even a TechNet article on setting up the publishing rules with TMG
