Hello...I have 4 separate, stand-alone TMG enterprise servers. Having used ISA, the one thing I noticed was that you no longer had to put static routes at the OS level, but did it on the routing tab in TMG(including the default route....the network the TMG is actually on).
I have never had to put OS level static routes in any of my TMG servers. What I did today, was configure an EMS server to connect my TMG to (they are all in different areas of the country, different networks, so each server is its own array, albeit an array of 1 server each).
When I join my already configured stand-alone TMG's to the EMS, obviously the configuration is overwritten. What is confusing however, is even when I put the network routing in the routing tab for each array member, there is no communication with the EMS server. If I go to the array member, and put in a static route(for example, my TMG server is 172.21.190.254....and I put in a static route of "route add 172.21.190.254 MASK 255.255.255.0 172.21.190.1), I can then connect to the EMS server(which is 172.21.181.230).
WHY is this routing now a problem. When the servers are stand-alone, the config works just fine. Do I need to wipe these clean and start from scratch? There is little / no information on EMS and configurations.
