Hai Friends,

                  I have an ISA 2006 Enterprise server in my company.I tried to block torrent traffic using the following HTTP signature in firewall policy....

Search in               Request Headers
HTTP header        Content type
Signature              application/x-bittorrent

                    But still users can download stuffs from torrent sites.Please help me how to block torrents completely.(Any torrent applications)

It's difficult to block torrent by ISA itself.

Hi,

usually the torrents applications are blocked by ISA firewall default rule. If you don't have an allow all access rule, I guess you should be fine on blocking it.

Hi.

Just allow only HTTP and HTTPS protocols from you Internal or Perimeter network to access the External network if your purposes are for browsing only.
