We have an ISA server 2006 in production and it is connected to a cable modem. Whenever the connection is lost, the ISA server does not reconnect, it stays offline on my external nic card. The modem is not restarting or malfunctioning, it is when the cable company is doing "maintenance" behind the modem.

I have turned off all power option settings and I, also, turned off the power option on the nic card to sleep with no activity.

To correct the problem, I manually disable the nic card and then enable it.

Is there a way to force ISA to reconnect when this event occurs?

Any ideas would be welcome.
