We have the passowrd change feature turned on in TMG and applied the patches that M$ asked us to because it didnt' work properly. Now when a users is notified about an expiring password "set for 15 days out" they will not be allowed to login if they don't change it. They can come into the office and log in but thru the FBA they will not be allowed or even allowed to. Another issue I see is if the users tried to login and didn't not change their password, they cannot do a VPN connection either. I am not sure what or if it is doing anything with the password expiration feature, like setting it as expired, even though that could have had 11 days left.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Hi,
there may be many reasons
1- users save their password and user in their client credentials
2- you changed the ad logon information but you forgot to change the Isa ad logon information.
3- the certificate in Isa is expired
there are also some helpful links
