Hi all,

i have the following situation. I want to reach a client which is connected via PPTP-VPN. Pings and a certain TCP port. This is not working.

It is however working in the simulator. The according rule is detected and traffic is signaled as allowed.

It is also working if I do this from another VPN-client. Pings are working and the port is open.

If I log access to the IP address of the VPN-client I can see that the ISA blocks the traffic with "connection refused" (verweigerte verbindung). As Type I see Firewallservice but Status and Rule are empty.

Any help would be highly appreciated. I am quite desperate already ;-)

Cheers

Please post the access rules you have defined to allow the traffic.

HTH,

I solved the problem. It was related to a false setting in the network rule regarding the VPN-clients. Here NAT was selected, but it should have been IP-Routing. After changing the setting I could reach the client as desired.

thx anyway!
