Hello

I have a single FTP server setup where I need to support external connections from the outside that use a variety of either FTP, FTPS or FTPES. (Plain FTP, Explicit Secure FTP and Implicit Secure FTP)

For FTP to work I need a rule that allows inbound 21 with FTP Access Filter enabled.
For FTPES and FTPS to work I need a rule that allows 21, 990 and a range 9000-9300 but with the FTP access filter disabled

My problem is with the "21" port needed for both FTP and FTPES and how I can make plan FTP connections to use the FTP rule and for FTPES to use the FTPES rule.

If I have the FTP rule higher than the FTPES rule then FTPES triggers on this policy so will fail to connect. FTP and FTPS will however work fine.
If I have the FTPES rule higher than the FTP rule then FTP will triggers on it and fails since it the access filter is disabled.

So I need to support all three protocols but I can only make it so that I can two working at any tiime, i.e. either FTP/FTPS working or FTPS/FTPES working. I need to be FTP/FTPS and FTPES working accessible.

The issue looks like this post except this is talking about the outbound FTP/FTPS/FTPES connections.

Anyone know what the trick is to make this work?

Thanks!
